2. Cantex Mine Development
CANTEX DEVELOPMENT CORP., the Company incorporated under the laws of the ALBERTA and having its registered office at No. 203 – 1634 Harvey Avenue Kelowna, BC, V1Y 6G2 Canada.
The Company's principal business activity is the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties for commercial mineral deposits. The Company’s projects are at the exploration stage and we have not yet determined whether the properties contain ore reserves that are economically recoverable.
The Company’s primary project is located in the northwestern part of the Republic of Yemen where Cantex owns exclusive Exploration Licenses of 992.8 square kilometers aerial extent. The company started its first exploration operations in Yemen at the beginning of 1996. The second project is in Nevada, USA where the Company has a 100% interest in 10 gold exploration prospects secured with 485 claims. In southwestern Greenland, Cantex has an option to acquire a 25 percent interest in exploration licenses totaling 3,420 square kilometers on which a diamond exploration program is currently being undertaken. Cantex also has a 100% interest in an additional 319 sq/km exploration license in Greenland.
